Adjusting a Guitar Part's Timing (Triple Threat Quick Tip)
Aug 29, 2018Sometimes after recording a guitar part I'll need to adjust its timing to make it fit nicely into the track I'm working on. Here's how I like to do it.
I first create a midi track (totally empty of sound) and quantize the notes to fit the groove I'm working in. This gives me a visual reference to align the transients of the guitar strums.
