Side-chaining synths to kicks β
Dec 05, 2018The topic of sidechaining or "ducking" came up this week in the class. This is more of an advanced trick for some of you guys, but it worth talking about because it's really not that hard.
The advantage of this is that it brings out the kick drum really nicely in EDM music, or can be used as a "pumping affect", like in Titanium by David Guetta and Sia.
