The Triple Threat Artist
- Chelsey shared news of her purchase of Logic X, and excited to dig into it
- Sem shared a workaround fix for the hum he was getting in his guitar chain
- Mikey shared a video instructing and announced a webinar on guitar training
- Alex shared a great video mashup video
- Rebecca started a convo about using a VI solo strings instrument
- In Office hours,we discussed types of MIDI instruments, breaking drum racks into separate tracks for rendering, recording audio specifically guitars with dynamic vs condenser mics, and reminded everyone about the Q&A with Josh Doyle tomorrow.
- On Wed we we had an amazing Q&A with producer / songwriter / artist, Josh Doyle! He truly is a triple threat, and is making a living full time with his music. Replay was given.
- A new Q&A was announced for 2/20 with producer composer Dirk Ehrert
- More steps were taken by students to listen to lectures and apply their new knowledge in exercises and groove making strategies.
- This next week's office hours will be held on Tuesday at 10am, where we will deconstruct famous production of hit songs, as well as get questions resolved for any production projects students are working on.
